Moser Tower & Millennium Carillon

Moser Tower Millennium Carillon
(630) 428-4239
Located along the River walk the Carillon Tower rising 160 feet above the River walk and is one of only a few instruments of its size in the world. It has seventy-two bronze bells and is one of only four carillons in the world spanning a full six octaves. Visitors to the Tower will see an awe-inspiring view of the area when they reach the observation deck, 14 stories up. Music selections are played on the bells at 11 a.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. daily. A week-long summer recital series draws artists from around the world.
But at 14 stories high – and about 10 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty – the hike to the open-air Observation Deck poses some physical challenge; mental, too, if you’re sensitive to heights. The reward, however, is a one-of-a-kind vantage of the city, the Riverwalk and Centennial Beach, and on clear days, the Chicago skyline.
